Managing Partner, Big Bite Bros LLC

After leaving the company I had worked for for nearly 10 years (and held supervisory and management positions in), I worked with a friend of mine who had a dream of opening his own restaurant, with years in the industry. I have always had a passion for cooking and creating new dishes in the kitchen. We put our heads together and developed Big Bite Bros, a Texas-based Limited Liability Company. We are renting out a ghost kitchen facility in downtown San Antonio, operating multiple restaurant brands out of a single kitchen in a delivery-focused food hall.

Boise Christmas Lights

In 2015, I decided to start an interactive Google Map highlighting the best Christmas light displays in the Boise area. The map ended up going viral and being featured on multiple radio stations, TV stations, and even the biggest newspaper in the state of Idaho. I was able to create a Facebook page, an Instagram account, and a dedicated website to feature highlights and updates about the project. The project has grown each year, and as of 2022, here's where our metrics stand:

I am proud to say that I've been able to keep the digital costs minimal. I have never paid for a Sponsored Ad on Facebook or Instagram - the numbers and growth you see are all organic. This is due to a combination of excellent photography/media, keywords on our website that lead to a higher Google search ranking, and the fact that this project truly helps fulfill a need for the public. The web hosting costs are very small. You can learn more about the Boise Christmas Lights project here.

San Antonio Christmas Lights

After moving from Boise to San Antonio, Texas, I decided to start up a similar project for highlighting and mapping must-see Christmas Light displays in the Alamo city. This project is still relatively new, so it doesn't have the numbers that Boise does quite yet, but it's growing each year.
